I am currently a PhD candidate at the Department of Linguistics at the University of Ottawa.
My research agenda is based primarily on the syntax of natural languages.
From a theoretical perspective, I am interested in the basic operations underlying the computational system: Merge, Agree, Spell-Out/Transfer, Adjoin; which I study with the approaches of linguistic minimalism and biolinguistics. I am also interested in the interfaces between syntax and phonology (e.g. the relation between prosodic and syntactic constituents), and syntax and semantics.
From an analytic perspective, I am interested in agreement, especially long-distance/cross-clausal agreement. I am particularly interested in Algonquian morphosyntax.
