Directions to the University
The conference will take place in Arts 026 and Arts 257  in the Arts Building at 70 Laurier (East).  The Friday night reception and Saturday coffees breaks will be in the Glenn Clever Room in the Department of English on the third floor.

Driving to Ottawa
Arriving from the East: Off Highway 417 West, take the Nicholas St. exit (North). Follow Nicholas until you arrive at Laurier Avenue. Turn right on Laurier Street. Follow Laurier Street to the 2nd set of lights (Cumberland). Right on Cumberland, then right again. You will arrive at a parking lot (lot K) that is adjacent to the Simard Building. The Arts Building is one building over to the North, at the corner of Waller and Laurier.

Arriving from the West: Off Highway 417 East, take the Nicholas/Lees exit. Follow Nicholas Street to the first set of lights (Laurier Street). Turn right (east) on Laurier Street. Follow Laurier Street to the 2nd set of lights (Cumberland). Right on Cumberland, then right again. You will arrive at a parking lot (lot K) that is adjacent to the Simard Building. The Arts Building is one building over to the North, at the corner of Waller and Laurier.

Taking a cab
The train station is about a 20-minute cab ride to the University of Ottawa and would cost approximately $13 to $15.  The bus station is about a 10 minute cab ride to the University of Ottawa and would cost around $11. The airport is somewhat further outside the city and may cost around $38 to $45.

Taking the bus
From the Ottawa airport: The OC Transpo bus #97 departs frequently just outside the front doors of the terminal and stops directly in front of the University of Ottawa. The Greyhound bus stops at the Laurier/Waller bus stop on campus, right across the street from the Arts Builidng where the conference is taking place.  Please note that this is just a bus stop, not a full-service Greyhound station.  Tickets still need to be purchased at the central bus station at 265 Catherine Street.

From the Via Rail train station:
From the front exit, follow the walkway to the end, passing over the bus route. Take the stairs down to the bus shelter and get on bus #95, which travels directly to the University.
