Dr. Laura Sabourin
I have been at the University of Ottawa since 2007, studying the neurological organization of the bilingual brain. Current research projects involve the investigation of the bilingual mental lexicon and bilingual sentence processing. Before coming to Ottawa, I was doing postdoctoral research at the University of Oregon (investigating the development of monolingual sentence processing in 3-5 year old children) and at the University of British Columbia (investigating vowel perception in 8 month old infants). I was recently the guest editor of a special issue of the journal Second Language Research on Neuroimaging (January 2009). My personal webpage can be found here.
