21 October 2017: Reformation 500 Concert
7 pm, at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 82 Kent Street. Music will include vocal, choral, and instrumental pieces as well as hymns with audience participation. Composers to be featured on the program will include JS Bach, CPE Bach, Buxtehude, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Malotte, Harriss, Vaughan, Wlliams, Szymzo, Piper, and Stabback. Although the concert is free to the public, we hope to take a free-will offering for the the Centertown Emergency Food Centre run by the Centertown Churches. 22. Oktober 2017: Kunsthistorischer Vortrag an der St.-Albertus-Kirche
Vortrag​ ​über​ ​Kirche​ ​St-Romuald, von Dr. Beate Stock, 13.00 Uhr, St. Albertus, 416 Parkdale Avenue. Vor 150 Jahren haben Künstler aus Bayern die Kirche von St.-Romuald in Lévis (Quebec) dekoriert. Diese Kirche ist daher in Nordamerika ziemlich einmalig. Dr. Beate Stock, Kunsthistorikerin an der National Gallery​, wird dazu einen Vortrag mit Bildern im Pfarrsaal halten, um 13 Uhr​, nach der Sonntagsmesse.

9 November 2017: Rescued Treasure – Jewish Music from 1930s Berlin
A Treasury of Jewish music almost forgotten: repertoire from 1930s Berlin recorded by Hirsch Lewin on the Semer label later destroyed by the Nazis on this day in 1938.
