Current Research

I have begun a research project on the reception and appropriation of Brecht’s plays and theatrical thought in Canada, with the dual aim of writing a monograph analyzing this reception history and creating an online research and teaching resource.

I am also continuing my research on theatrical relations between Germany and India, analyzing the productions of Indian director Vijaya Mehta in Germany in collaboration with Fritz Bennewitz.
