Coming by train

The Ottawa Train Station at Tremblay Road is located approximately 10 minutes from downtown by bus or taxi.

Bus to/from train station:

The Train Station is only a few stops from downtown with three main buses serving the route.

Paying by Cash (reimbursable to speakers with receipt):
Adults:  3.40$
Seniors: 2.55$

Paying by bus tickets (reimbursable to speakers with receipt):
Adults: 2 tickets worth 1.50$
Seniors: 2 tickets worth 1.50$

Bus From the Train Station:
Routes 94, 95 and 96 towards downtown depart from stop Train 2A accessible by tunnel outside the station entrance. All routes use low-floor, fully accessible buses that accommodate wheelchairs.

Bus To the Train Station:
Ottawa OC Transport service is excellent and there is a great bus travel planning tool, which can be found here. Just plug in where you’re coming from, where you want to go and when you want to leave or arrive and the tool shows you the best bus routes. Tickets can be purchased from one of many convenience or pharmacy/grocery stores nearby or at the OC Transpo Sales Centre on the 3rd floor of the Rideau Centre.

Car to/from train station:

Take Queensway (417) to Vanier Parkway exit (#117) and follow the road signs (4 km from downtown).

Information for Keynote, plenary and session speakers:

Keynotes, plenaries and session speakers traveling to and from the event will have their economy class travel covered by the event by means of reimbursement. Therefore, we ask that these speakers please save travel receipts and boarding passes!
The travel claims will be jeopardized otherwise. Please contact us for more information.

Taxis or a charter bus will be ordered to transport speakers to event-related venues where and when needed.
